That's what I'm screamin...But ya'll are trippin if you think 100 actual watts of cfls are gonna make leaves burn due to hotspots!
THANK YOU for your comment =DI have used foil before, the light creates hot spots if you use the shiny side, if you use the dull dimpled sides your ok. Yes foil is ok...
You guys knock it off. Back in the day on OverGrow.org foil was a normal cheap reflective material used on a bunch of low income grows. This guy has a great idea, maybe you should suggest improvements rather than chastise him for doing something cheap.
BTW man go to the dollar store and you can find mylar in the gift bag stuffing section.
