DIY bud dryer - some questions W/pics

after seeing a couple of different bud dryers on here i built a quick one myself and ive a couple of questions someone can hopefully help me with?

i wanted to dry the bud with as little smell as possible and as i know i wont have the tent empty at the right time to use that with the carbon filter so i want to try and get as much air flowing out of the bud dryer and back into the tent through the air vent and then cleaned up through the filter......
my tent is pretty small and a ruck and rhino/phatty set up pull in quite an air draw through just one vent, enough that an a4 piece of paper can be held in place.....pics should give you an idea of what im trying to do....im not sure if the air flow is going to be enough (i'll find out soon i guess lol) but as a back up to the holes i have drilled i was thinking of installing a pc fan either by the vent of the tent to increase the pull of the air, or should i put the fan at the back of the box to push it across the bud? (i was thinking pull, to hopefully cut down on the smell getting out)

does it make much ? also is there a simply "guide fo dummies" on how i can regulate the pc fan so if its drying to quickly or not i can adjust it?
if anyone else has any other ideas i can use please throw them over to me :)

I put a 4 in cpu fan on the lower side of my 18 gallon rubbermid and then drilled air holes all around the sides and attached a carbon filter to the fan. Worked nice. Trick is to let them dry long enough.

There are PC fan speed controller you can get on ebay, pretty cheap they just lower the voltage but they works. You need to drill holes on the opposite side of the fan so air flows from one end to the other, Holes big enough to let plenty of air though, If you drill at the side the closer end will get more air flow.

im going to order a 4" fan off ebay and stick it in the vent that is attached to the bud dryer, hopefully this will increase the air pull across the bud and also make sure more air is pulled into the tent via the vent rather then seeping out of the box causing more smelll then i want...

if anyone has anything else to add that can help please dont sit back, jump in and give me any advice you think i should take on board....thanks! :)
