fdd, I always hear you going on about nitrogen... what about phosphorous and potassium?

High levels of potassium are just as important as nitrogen, likewise a middling amount of phosphorous...

I just hear you raving about nitrogen alot, but you never mention the other 2.

i say nitrogen, i mean veg. i checked my bottle. i'm using 12-6-6. :blsmoke:
but i will still get some 3-3-3 today. most likely use the 2 together.

Already!!!!!

6 nodes high. it has 2 balls on one set of nodes and 3 on another. they are very small and i have to use a loupe but they look very male. there is a second plant that looks as if it may have a hair but that one is teeny tiny. i should know for sure on these 2 in 2 more days.

it's been 28 days since i put my beans into germ. after the few days of lighting issues i think we're back on track. here's the breakdown.........

#1) diesel X trinity X nutcracker.
i've been feeding with full strength 12-6-6 and just started added some full strength 3-3-3 also. my lower leaves are still yellowing and all the plants have an overall light green appearance. i need to get them to darken up.

#2) misty
didn't make it.

#3) jazz train.
these took the longest to germ. i think the soil i had had bad things in it. the sprouts were small and slow growing and they got munched on while attempting to break soil.

#4) jacks surprise.
those yellow leaves again. it almost looks like over watering but with these small pots and the light i'm using i water twice a day because my soil completely dries out.

#5) shaman
well what is this? 3 plants, 3 phenos.

#7) purple something
i usually plant my sprouts low in the cup to allow for stretching and burying. with the MH light i am getting no stretching. now my babies are down low in their cups. i trimmed one cup but kept picturing myself cutting the stalk in half so i did no more.

#8 ) black domina
these just look really nice.

so what do you think. more veg? i have some 3-3-3 that i just started feeding them. i know that if i figure it out i can keep those bottom leaves from yellowing. i thought i was giving them too much 12-6-6 but they don't show it.

I would probably go another week or 2 veg depending on the space I had..are you putting them in the 3x3 and the 600 hps or flowering with mh??

i want big bushes. i will pick the best female of each strain and maybe top them. not quite sure yet. i'll have to see what the growth patterns look like. i think my flowering room has 2 weeks left. they may not be ready by then.

i have plans for my outdoor.:blsmoke::twisted:

Very interesting. Are you leaving them in those sized pots or are you transplanting (sorry if you mentioned it I must have missed it)?

Will be keeping an eye on this thread :).

i want to keep them in those small pots/cups until they show pre-flowers. i don't think i have enough room to repot them all. i would like to kill all the males first.

it may just be me but it looks like the black domina's nodes are stretched about the most apart.
and that plant on the left of the purple something picture is bushy as fouck....
you now have me interested in mh lighting for veg. since i am currently using t12 fluros for vegging I am using bigger soil pots. right now im vegging 15 plants in square 5gallon containers. but 3 or 4 of those will be going outside. Im considering putting a 400watt mh bulb in 400watt my hps ballast to run for about 3-4 weeks on a 16 (light on) hour timer, to see how great the benefits are over fluros myself. i have been told that running it like so will just make the bulb blow quicker, and the ballast is under warrantly so wtf right? and if they work that great ill buy a mh ballast. i should assume that since im veg to 12-16 inches then i can go with a smaller ballast than a 400 watt if i choose to make the change definite?

oh yeah. why dont you upload some more interesting pics to your gallery for us to look @?
or better yet a thread to keep going forever, in order to keep us entertained..... id be fun for you im sure.....stoners all have similar taste.
