distance of air pump

Hey all. I have my 10w pump running out of my tent to stay away from high temps. So there is probably about 2-3 meters of tubing to each bucket. Is this too much for a 10 w pump.
I can look in the buckets and the bubbles look to be about the same as when the pump is closer. Hard to actually tell just by looking at it.

Just want to know anyone else running their tubing a few meters? And if you have noticed less bubbles.

Mine is 18W with maybe 4m of tubing (its on the attic above my box). It would be better if it could be kept closer but its doing fine as it is.
