What exactly is needed for a CC or dispensarie? My doctors office told me I could go to the CC in town once I had my cert?
Your doc isnt clear on the process.
No club or caregiver who follows the rules can legaly provide meds to you,after you have the doctor fill out the required forms you then mail the completed form to the mmj office along with the processing & registration fee,the state forms have you chose & name a specific caregiver if you plan on using a caregiver to grow your plants on your behalf.
The standard state registration fee is $100,if your on food stamps or any other form of state or federal welfare the registration fee drops down to $25,you must send a money order along with the completed forms from the doctor.
In a few weeks the state will mail you a green post card that looks like a registered mail notice,on that post card will be a date,this date stamped on the card shows that your paperwork was entered into the system to start clearance checks on the date stamped.
Do not loose or throw away the post card,17 days after the date stamped on the card you become legal to possess,use & grow,your plastic card will come in the mail 8 to 20 weeks later,the plastic card will specify if you are allowed to possess plants,if you chose a caregiver his name & info will be on the back of the card,the caregiver you named will recieve a duplicate card with your info on it naming him as your caregiver & showing he is allowed to possess your plants,until the plastic card arrives you use the post card along with a copy of all the state paperwork you mailed in,without both the post card & paperwork you will not be legal.
It takes a few months to get it all done with & you must reaply every 12 months & have new doctor certification as well as pay all the fee's once a year,legal status only lasts 12 months.
