As I was going to bed last night a new show was just coming on Discovery Channel called Weed Country. I only watched a few minutes and then set my DVR to record it but it looked pretty good. I googled it this morning and found not one but two new cannabis shows on Discovery Channel.

yeah....I don't think I want to see anything from a police perspective. The only way to get hurt or killed by marijuana is from a cop or robber the plant can do no harm.

yeah, Pot Cops... maybe that's Discovery Channels idea of balanced programming. still think this point of view - the prohibitionists- is going backwards some. guess we can see how it's spun -pot cops- in April. viewing more like research, than entertainment.. lol

how many more months until Directv adds THC network channel?

I've Met Mike Boutin from Grace Farms back in September at the Robert C. Randall dinner in Lansing!

it was great to see him on the show and i look forward to more of the show, better than Weed Wars for sure.... (even though i met Deangelo and his brother too and they are awesome guys)

..the fact that the show said "cannabis cures cancer" on national television is ONE HELLUVA IMPROVEMENT!

I enjoyed the show but it pisses me off to see those "pot Police" being so dead set on busting us, they don't seem to give a shit abt the laws on ligal medicinal mj, seems there will always be a war no matter how the laws are changed.

if you look at the camera angles and placement....every interaction that they try to portray as in the moment was definitely planned and staged

I liked it. I feel like its portraying the right message that cannabis has genuine medical value and heals lots of sick people as well as the fact that cannabis prohibition is hurting more people than it helps.

As for it being fake, come on... Its a fucking reality show! Even the most real reality show still has producers trying to coach the participants a certain way and edit teams that will manipulate the footage and piece it together in a way to try to give it more entertainment value...

Slowly they are going to retire and there replacements wont always he happy to continue the nonsense .. I recently was pulled over with skunk bud and the officer asked about the odor . I handed him my medical card and he was so relieved .. He held no grudge and did not even look at my stash or bother me afterwards . It has given me faith knowing that not all cops are brainwashed .. ..

I found most of the show to be cringe worthy but, it had some good moments. Getting the ex police officer and the poor kid with epilepsy mother on may have saved the show for me. I also thought the director of the show did a good job of letting the cops look like a bunch of uninformed, brain washed, out of touch zealots.
