Disaster

I had a bit of a disaster this morning. I took a plant out of the tent to test the run off and turn a fan up and all of the main branches, the main cola's bent over towards the ground while the plant was outside of the tent and one or two of the branches snapped at the bottom. I have taped 1 of the snapped branches up. What do you think the chances of it recovering are? I've never had this issue before. What is the worst that can happen? I'm guessing worse case that the plant won't feed that part of the plant and the buds will just dry up and dry out and i'll end up with an early smoke? lol

By the way I am 6 weeks into flower and it was the weight of the bud that caused the branch to bend over towards the ground and snap.

The tape is a great idea! I have used tape and a support like a bamboo stick or similar on broken branches and the plant usually forms a little ‘knot’ where it broke and recovers. If it snapped all the way off I usually just discard or dry that branch,

It was basically a main cola branch that bent over towards the ground and snapped when I took it out the tent. I've put it back inside the tent and wrapped some tape around it and it looks ok but I'm a bit worried about it. It's holding together with the tape though so hopefully it recovers. I'm just a bit worried about it because it did actually snap rather than just bend.
:)

Tape the brakes up and give support, branches will recover and heal, sanitize the brakes to prevent infection, cloning gel, or tree wound/grafting wax may help with recovery timeprobably add 10days to your blood cycle to account for recovery time. You should be fine

i have taped up broken branches before and the plant recovered well, just get the branch as tight as you can into its original position and wrap the tape around it tightly
