direct sunlight bad for clones?

We have all done it one time or another.
I originally meant to quote the guy who said, nice 6 year necro. I came across the thread on a Google hunt for info on cloning, thought it fitting to renecro after another 6 years. Here's to 2025s post!

Btw the new info was helpful so wasn't completely in vain!

I keep mine in 5 gal pots and place the pots under an oak tree, the plants get about 50% sun exposure. After a couple weeks, I move them to direct sunlight and they look great.

I'm going to bump this thread into 2022. I'm going for my first attempt at an ez cloner. The room I'm using has a north facing window. The clones are coming off of an outdoor gg and outdoor runtz. Should I put them in the corner with a small light, in front of the window on the ground or block out the light from the window and just use my light?
