Sometimes you need to be patient getting seeds to germ. It can take up to 2 weeks.
if your room is too cold, some seeds won't even germ at all, especially smaller ones. i won't sprout seeds without my heating mat & humidity dome anymore and am thinking of getting a second one so i don't have to cram a bunch of hard to keep the right moisture peat pellets in such a small space. not only has my germination rate returned back to nearly 100%, but seeds take off like crazy with warm roots being ready to go under a light in half the time.
i'm interested in their critical haze. based on dinafem's rep, if they say they used a legit trippy haze to breed that, i'd trust it's better than what passes for hazes more often than not.
short stuff's super cali haze is decent enough, though i had just a gram of bud from mine because i found out there was a kink in it's roots just below the surface that was stunting it. i would have liked to test that against DNA sweet haze which is the best i've tried so far.
i'd be surprised if their haze auto sucked, though the mutation report above doesn't sound promising.
now to go back and re-read the entire thread. i'm still looking for the best practical haze possible for my own garden
as to fems turning hermie, i think the breeder in question DOES play a part. if you look up nirvana fems & autos, you see nothing but pissed off growers. they can't all be fidiots.
actually, the only hermies i've seen so far have been from my sativa seeds (nirvana) highland thai regulars. stress might have played a part as it took two transplants and months to even know the sexes of my plants and they got rootbound with leaf yellowing twice. it's the only strain i couldn't sex in a 16oz cup or even a 1 gallon pot and i bet they didn't like 2 gallons much better.
otherwise, my super cali haze & masterkush autos were fine and those were both femmed too
