dinafem blue widow started life as a triploid. lst'd then topped to achieve 50 tops. vegged for about 60 days.
at week 2 flowering cut out about 5 tops then week 5 cut out 5 more all these were smaller and lagging behind.
week 10 since flip. i call it week 8 of actually flowering. have 2-3 weeks left.
grown under ~500w cfls in 2x2x4 cab 1/4 of cab is used for flowering my revegged g13 pineapple express and to start a humboldt lemon thai kush.
grown fully organic in reammended super soil mix.
added glacial rock dust, epsom salts, hi p bat guano every 2-3 weeks during flowering.
took 2 buds today to see the difference between taste/potency at week 8 and 10.
breeder claims 8 weeks but from all i have seen 10-11 weeks makes for much better yield.
but may not be willing to give up taste for yield we will sees.
the trimmed bud has a few smaller popcorns below it total wet weight was 10g's hoping for 3g when dried.
so 40 tops at 3 g's hoping for about 140-150g total by week 10. 150g/375w would = 0.4 grams/watt which wouldn't be bad for cfl's.
i know the number crunching is just that so lets wait 2-3 weeks and finish this show.
