Dinafem Blue Widow smoke report

Strain - Blue widow by Dinafem (blueberry X white widow)
Grown - leds, ffof, bio thrive nutes.
Time - 9 to 10 weeks. let this strain go a few more weeks hoping the buds would densen up.
Grown style - topped during veg, ended up with 5-6 tops.
Yield - very good. higher than average.
Cured - 3 months
Smell - strong earthy fruity smell with hint of citrus.
Smoke - smoke is average not too strong not too weak. definitely indica couchlock effect if smoking a good amount.
Taste - umm smooth and fruity
Bag appeal - not the best, leafy airy buds.

Good yielder, good smell, and taste. would not hurt if the smoke was stronger and the buds denser. I think with this strain it comes down to getting a good pheno. Definetly know there are better ones out there. lemme know what you think.

Nice smoke report.

I think the Blue Widow is pretty much like any other cross, you need to grow 5 to 10 seeds to find that winner pheno.

My BW looked nothing like your pics. Mine was really light pale green colored and had EXTREMELY dense buds and a massive yield. Lots of bag appeal. 2 problems though - it lacked potency (just made you feel down and sleepy) and tasted/smelled like rubbing alcohol. By looking at it though you'd think it was great. Didn't stick around too long.

Putang- I grew some out a couple months ago and agree spot on with your report. Very good yield but airy buds. After you trim away all the leaf matter around the buds it looks a little sad. Easy grow with no issues. Mine smelled like Juicy Fruit gum all flower. Made me want to lick my fingers. Let it go 71 days from 12/12. For me, 1/2-1 hour after smoking it makes me very sleepy and lazy. If I can make it past the hour I can make myself get up and do something productive. Very average high. Nothing special and I will not be growing this again. There are so many other strains to try.

I have a "keeper" Dinafem Blue Widow. One of five grown out. Bluish/purplish buds, tight and fruity. Medium yield. Above average potency. Guess you just have to get the right pheno. The best part is I've crossed it with Karma Genetics White OG and have had some exceptional results. Will backcross to BW and hopefully get even better results.

Heard pretty much only good things about Delicious Northern Light Blue, might give that one a try if you're still looking for a solid blueberry strain. I'm definitely getting a 3 pack next time I order seeds.

Not sure what pheno I have but im currently growing 7 bw and 5 master kush. Im hoping by the sounds of it that it wont be as airy.
