This here is what I was thinking but wasn't 100% sure.You'll get a more even spread with it turned up and raised higher. But it's more energy efficient to dim and keep lower. At least with boards. The strip lights probably don't matter as much.

So regardless of the light emitted or percentage of potential power input, the focal point remains.

I simply dim or crank up my lights but I don’t feel like raising and lowering a shit ton of lights.What do you think is better dimming and getting closer, or 100% and moving farther away? I have a lux meter on the way and going to experiment with the concept. Does anyone have any information on this already?
