Digital Ballast + Cool Tube question

Hi,

I just bought a digital ballast. However, my PrimaKlima Cool Tube does not have that fancy wire sticking out.
Does someone has experience how to connect these. Should I just cut/connect the cable to the socket, or...?
Do you have photos?

Is it a ground wire? Do YOU have photos of what you are asking about? Do NOT wire directly if possible. By fancy wire are you referring to the plug end?

Hi,

Yes by fancy wire I mean the female plug that comes out of the ballast. I will upload photos. Basically my reflector is only connected to the ballast through two single, white silicon coated wires. Could I connect these to a male plug (3 pin) and then connect it to the ballast?

a picture would be great. how many wires are coming out of the mogul socket (where the bulb screws into)?
