Looking happy and healthy. Do you have any pictures of the roots during transplant?

Thanks man

no sorry no pics of transplant at all, was home alone when it all went down, my only focus was not screwing the transplant up and getting them back in the new pots lol.

was a little annoyed after the fact tho, really wish i had pics now lol

the rootball was pretty clean, nothing twisting around sides, i think the fabric pots air prune the roots? they looked decent/normal compared to all the pics i looked at afterwards.

I typically go from an 18oz party cup to a 2 gal rose pot before going to a 5 gal fabric pot. Here are 2 from the current run.

crazy roots man.

post a current pic of the girls if you want. love to see them

yikes

it seems i may have over watered both big girls, i guess the new 5g pots were not as light as i thought. last watered on dec 26th, 2 biggest were way lighter than the 2 i didnt water.

both are drooping hard right now, obvious choice is overwatered i would think?

The pic I saw earlier today looked fine. How far are you from lights out and take another pic.

lights only came back on 4 hours ago

drooping started directly after watering. obv could be temporary shock or something, never noticed them do this before, only in mornings before lights out, they always get lazy and start drooping then.

ill grab a pic now in a few

It is common for plants to droop before their sleep cycle. Watering them just prior to that could make them droop a little more. See how they look in the morning.

They were watered about an hour ago. Drooping started right away it seemed.

Light is 600w mh approx 18-20 inches above canopy

Temps are consistant 78-79f and 55-60rh since moving them into 5g pots

My lights run throughout the nights
They only just came on 4 hours ago, will run for another 14 hours before they sleep.

its most likely temperature shock from cold water.
Just gave the 2 big girls a feeding

450ppm

6.25 ph

they each took little over 1g to runoff
What was the temperature of the water? Based on the drooping it might have been colder than the plants liked. I've seen this before and have seen the stems / stalks turn purple

Water temp was 70.8f

all the water they have been given has been this temp or very close.

Hoping it's just temporary shock from the feeding, I'll update later on if there's any change.

Been watching your grow...looks amazing...just hope my 1st grow develops as well as yours has...I've also been interested in the scrog method too, in my case I'll be growing in a 2x3x6' cab I built, I'm lining the interior with 1" reflective foam board....I've got a 4"fan and Can-Lite carbon filter, hope that will be enough...I just bought 135w QB V2 LED 4000k ...hoping to use this light throughout the grow...Lots to learn, still a lot to just to get started but working at it....I'm in Canada and was hoping to get some seeds from BCSeedKing they have feminized seeds... Then theres CropKing another Canadian company....they have autos and feminized seeds as well....what was your criteria when you researched your seeds? Looking forward to your next installment in your journal....Happy NewYear

Hey fellow Canadian, happy new year, thanks for stopping by.

You sound like you have already been doing some solid research , those qb boards are all the rage right now, from what I have read they should fill that space nicely

As for seeds, I ended up ordering from seedsman for my main order.

Read a bunch of reviews on different seed companys and different strains( I was looking for something user friendly and I was familiar smoking for my first grow) found a few real good journals for Heavyweight fruit punch and made my decision to order from seedsman. They always have good freebies too it seems. They are in U.K. But the order arrive in my box within 2 weeks.

I also ordered from montrealcannabisseeds
Order went well, got 5 blueberry fems.

Basically I picked strains I liked to smoke, then I researched which of those were easy growers, easy stoner math after that lol

Hope this helps

First picture is 2 weeks after transplant from rose pot - week 5 I think. Second picture is earlier today 16 days into flower. I dropped the beans October 11th.
Do you have any pictures when you had them in the 18oz cup? How big do you let them get before going to the rose ones ?

Hey man I’m in Alberta and I just got some seeds from BCseedking and I would highly recommend them! I will definitely be getting my seeds from them again. Super fast shipping and had no problem doing a etransfer to them. they give you a 5$ discount if you etransfer as well. so that’s sweet everyone loves a deal! I ordered 10 white widow and when they came there was even a few extra some looked better then others But all 16 seeds germinated which was awesome!

Cheers and happy growing
