So far I have not had a plant stretch enough to need support. Probably genetics, but both the GDP and the skunk grow stocky with thick stems. Adding silica does help with that (structural) part of growth.
I think that the plants needing to support them selves grow to do that. A fan blowing and no supports probably makes the plant direct energy to that part of growth. I also think that by the time you flower that part is done. It is rooted and strong by then, and won't "waste" energy on whatever instead of flowers.
I just don't like being locked into place. It's so much easier to give them TLC, watering, pruning, etc. if you can spin the plant and look at all sides. This might be the draw for those auto-pot systems and stuff is for scrog growers that don't like to play with their plants as much as I do LOL

not much to report on the 2 left flowering, they just doing their thing, swelling and stinking
the 2 that are in waiting are soon not gonna be able to be moved they getting so big and bushy, gonna scrog these 2 for a laugh, see how it goes.
I did however trim, weigh and jar up Atomic just now.
I kept 40g of the nicest bud for smoking
I put another 29.5 g in the freezer for oil.
so just under 70 grams dryed for Atomic. About what i was expecting, maybe even a little better.
No pics cause my phone is full, gotta DL some of this stuff to the hard drive and free up some space
side note: i ended up getting back 10.4 grams of very golden oil on my first run, was very pleased with yield and quality. That was from 62 grams of smaller bud , larfy shit and trim

Fruit punch 2:
Smoke is very smooth, not a hard hitting strain, I think this one could def be a daytime smoker, the buzz is clear and somewhat energetic. The taste is very sweet, berry/fruity taste. It's not a strong smelling weed, but it does smell of earthy fruit. The taste is more overpowering than the smell.
Atomic: I loved this. Has a strong smell and nice taste, buzz is uplifting and fun. Laughs we're had. Had my Bros smoke a joint of this stuff without telling them where it came from, both of them loved it and asked if I could get them a bag. Ego check holla lol
