Different parts of plant more ripe than others?

Do you wait until the whole plant is ready to be cut or do u sometimes cut a bud here and there as parts mature further along?

I do a staggered harvest. I harvest whats ready and let others finish. It usually takes a couple weeks to harvest an entire plant. Sometimes less sometimes more. It helps break up the work for me and I only grow a few plants at a time. Its more of a hobby for me.

I do a staggered harvest most of the time as well. I'll take all the bigger ripest colas off the plants and trim fresh for a slo-dry and cure. then let the rest ripen up for a week or more before taking the tops off again and gradually working my way to the bottom.

Most of my stuff gets made into meds of some kind or another so I don't waste much time trimming and curing for bag appeal any more.
