Theres about 70,000 other plants that sprout with di-cotyldons and in fact sprouting looking like weed.

i was always told the closest reletive was hops, after that anything in the nettle family... did you know marijuana is one of only two annual plants on this earth that have seperate male and female plants?

The genus Cannabis was formerly placed in the Nettle (Urticaceae) or Mulberry (Moraceae) family, but is now considered along with hops (Humulus sp.) to belong to the Hemp family (Cannabaceae).

taxonomy is soooo interesting.lol
