Did topping ruin my plant or is this normal..

Hey guys ,heres the deal ,i'm growing a sharksbreath and it has been growing soo slow in veg.It's 3 weeks and it's still only 7 inches tall.I'm normally a week into flower by now with other strains.Topping it set it back more than usual aswell ,took about 5 days to pick up .

heres the thing though ,something weird has happened to it .Before i topped it it was growing these beautiful dark green ,jagged leaves ,classic cannabis leaf shape.But after topping it all the new growth that is coming in is these weird, fat crunched up ,for want of a better description ,lettucey kind of leaves.honestly you would hardly even think they were cannabis leaves.and they just smell of green ,like the grass in your garden.Not only this but they are all crowding each other out ,growing really close into each other so theres some leaves all twisted and shit ,and the plant while still only 7inches and has all these branches and weird fat leaves crowding each other out ,it kind of looks like a lettuce or something .lol .

is this normal extreme indica dominant traits.??Or is this evidence of it not liking the topping or liking it ...I only have experience of sativa dominant plants so far and they have topped really well..

I really hope when i switch it to flower it will stretch itself out and give these branches more space and the leaves will flatten and thin out a bit ,other wise i will be pretty bummed .It's not very attractive to look at when youve been growing lemon skunk and g13 haze

Put up some pics and make sure I can see the pot, I want to see how big it is, like this and I will come back and look

ok taken them down now ,i have got a bot of reassurance .i can't figure how to keep the pics private to rui members and i dont want non members looken

I wouldn't worry about -- it'll be fine. Once it starts to grow vertically again you'll have several tops. Did you FIM or actually top. I see what you are seeing about 50% of the time if I FIM.

i think i just topped as far as i know.You see what i mean though ,or will it even itself out in the stretch?and 1 day its almost sativa or hybrid like leaves and then i top and bam it turns into straight indica ,weird reaction i thought

I would stay in veg until you have several new, separated tops.

i usually take em to 12-15 inches anyway ,at this rate it will be another 3 weeks ,slowest mofo'er ive ever grown .
