I have inline fan blowing into my 600 hps hood glass covered. Then ducting out the tent which I attached to the carbon filter standing outside the tent. Is this the right or wrong way? Any tips?
Is there a reason why your filter is outside? And I like to have my carbon filter attached to my fan and then blowing where ever I need it to go.I have inline fan blowing into my 600 hps hood glass covered. I grow in a converted computer cabinet and space is very limited. Is there a reason why your filter is outside? And I like to have my carbon filter attached to my fan and then blowing where ever I need it to go.
That's understandable then. You need to filter the air being pulled through the hood. I use a couple of pieces of furnace filter for doing this in these types of situations.I grow in a converted computer cabinet and space is very limited.
So I messsd up you’re sayingOne negative to pushing as opposed to pulling through a filter is that the filter cleans the air before going through the hood. With the filter outside, the air through the hood is dirty, and that builds up on the glass quickly. Any dirt on the glass limits the light's efficiency,
No. All I said whas there are negatives to the way you're doing it. I commented a possible solution to this problem in a latter post.So I messsd up you’re saying
Is there a reason you are replying to others responses to the op's question?I grow in a converted computer cabinet and space is very limited.
I didn't even notice that.Is there a reason you are replying to others responses to the op's question?
How soon will the glass dirtyNo. All I said whas there are negatives to the way you're doing it. I commented a possible solution to this problem in a latter post.
If you arent exhausting your lights separately, you may as well pull off the glass and just exhaust normally. How soon will the glass dirty
How much shorter? Would it be hard to change setup?Blowing into a carbon filters causes buildup of dust and debris inside the filter. Shorter life span due to clogging.
No internal socks.
Because Sugar Tree didn't originally quote the OP (he must have edited it) and I thought Sugar Tree was the OP.Is there a reason you are replying to others responses to the op's question?
I run two stacked furnace filters on the outside with heat register filters on the inside. That's understandable then. You need to filter the air being pulled through the hood. I use a couple of pieces of furnace filter for doing this in these types of situations.
