Did I Screw Up ?

Your plant should do great in that bucket with a decent potting soil. My first grow, I grew in 7gal buckets and got huge plants with a great yield. The two killer noobie mistakes are over watering and over feeding. For both too little is better than too much. Let the soil get fairly dry even to the point where the leaves start to droop a bit before watering. Like others said, I wouldn't add any nutes for several weeks. Perhaps not until she is really flowering. She will probably do fine without any nutes right up to finish.

The little seedling looks great. She's not much now but that will change. The bigger she gets, the faster she will grow.

It's worth adding mycorrhizae, which is not a nutrient but a supplement or amendment of beneficial micro organisms

I use this stuff

1 lb will last many grows

Did I screw up ?

Are you in the US?

If so, check Home Depot for CFLs. 12 pack of 23 watt bulbs for $21. And free shipping after I think $45.

For your veg stage: http://www.homedepot.com/Electrical-Light-Bulbs-Compact-Tube-Fluorescents/h_d1/N-5yc1vZbmaeZ1z132o7/R-100677481/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

And for flowering: http://www.homedepot.com/Electrical-Light-Bulbs-Compact-Tube-Fluorescents/h_d1/N-5yc1vZbmaeZ1z132o7/R-100676713/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

Though not nearly the selection 1000 bulbs has, the prices are better.

thanks...that's the boost I needed...I'm off to 1000lightbulbs now to buy some cfls lol

I could of swore those were 6500k. 5000k is still okay for veg, better than using 2700k.

I wonder what happened to their 2 packs of 27 watt 6500k bulbs....

Did someone give you a magic seed or what?? lol this isn't Jack and the Beanstalk lol, give it some time to grow. It will take of before you know it.

One 23w CFL is FINE for a seedling. You'll need to add more as it grows, but right now it is fine. Just keep it close.

go to your grow store. buy a can of Great White. they will know what youre talking about. the shit WORKS! get your root zone biologically active! you can use it as a soil amendment too, if you ever want to re-use your soil. Google compost teas. You can brew up a enormous 'micro-herd' that your plants will LOVE!!!
