did i make a booboo?

alright so i had my first plant growin in my backyard like a year ago and it grew up past my nipple (im 5'7") even though it was topped off and it was flowerin for a while then it started gettin yellow leaves and gettin spots. i was especially worried when the two bottom branches broke off so i freaked out and just cut the plant down. after dring it and curing (in a plastic jar) it it smelt like tea and tasted like chinese. not exactly the best bud, but i was wonderin if i wouldve let it be if it wouldve been better to just die and smoke it rather than premature harvesting it. it was a reggie plant though but so beautiful up until its end.

also im never gunna buy nice krip seeds from websites cause im afraid of gettin caught, so does anyone know if you can do the same growing techniques to reggie seeds to get some nice quality bud? (no dealers i know have krip seeds, just the seedless dank bud)

Sorry to say but yea man, always let her flower as long as she can, even if the girl in question is "dying" from some mysterious disease.

ummm. im on my 1st grow as well. and i kno enuff not to chop nething down unless is looks like its takin its last walk. lol should of let dat bitch go 4 eeeeeeeevvvvvvvveeerrrrrrrrr. and to imforn u. just cuz its a reggie seed, dont mean it will b of poor quality. all seeds are good with the proper care. people always grow bag seed to fire. or headies. or piff. it roughly depends on how much time are u goin to take to tend dem muthafuckas.

well you are half right, it doesnt mean its going to be shit if its just a reg bag seed. but there is no way no how you are going to get as dank of weed from growing some reg bagseed compared to what you would get with a strain from a professional breeder. its all about genetics man. why do you think that these breeders selectively breed through numerous generations.... this is the only way they can ensure that they will have the exact qualities in a plant that they want. while proper tlc and growing techniques can greatly enhance things such as yield and bud density, there is absolutely no growing method that can greatly increase the potency of your buds. this is determined by the genetics of the particular seed that you are growing. every seed has a maximum potency that only optimal growing conditions will be able to achieve.


with that said, you still may get decent bud out of your reg, as far as reg goes anyway, if you can match the optimal growing environment and nutrient needs of your plant.
