if your adding anything but ph adjusted water and maybe a flushing solution (like final phase, finishing touch or something)... are you actually flushing?
As I said, a little every feeding. Instead of a 3x flush going into flower, something more like a 0.25-0.5x flush every feeding or two. I call it a mini flush.
If you can think of a better term, let me know. (I agree with you that "flush" is used for a lot of activities. To me it means 3x volume of water, nuted or not, with a flush additive or not. Just a traumatic amount of fluiid.).
I use distilled water mixed with nutes. I dont use fluah product. Just a full two weeks of plain water.
I call that a "cleanse." You're just letting the plant consume the remaining salts in the soil, cannibalize itself. You're not really flushing a large volume of water.
I used to do that until recently. Now I cut back to half-strength nutes 1-2 feedings before harvest. Maybe water only the last time. I don't overfeed, don't let salt build up, and my nutrients aren't entirely synthetic. Those factors may influence whether water-only cleansing is beneficial..
