Yours might just have a more open structure depending on genetics or grow conditions. Also, weed guy's buds might be a little compressed depending on how it was handled before it got to you.

Auto flower? Derived from a ditch weed in Russia, they don't go as dense generally.

Probably could have let her go for a while more.
