That is awesome Yessica. :) I'm very happy for you.

Now.
This waiting until August? :o
If you were in pain. Do you think that is something that you should have to endure until then?
I realize you are happy about being legal and all, but if you were very sick, like some of the ones fighting to be able to have their medication when they need it and at a price they can afford, would waiting be ok?
The whole deal is sadly defective.

True THAT! I am waiting until the end of July, because I am in a remote work camp for a month. I assume, most people that are getting a prescription, will not be in the same situation as me.

Everything is new. New system, new rules, new things to learn and hurtles to go through. I hope, I really do - that the prescription process can go down to 1 week from start to finish. I don't think there are enough Doctors WILLING to sign onto this process. Only the VERY brave do.

Also - if my first LP choice, and then my second were not barren - I could have maybe done this in the month of June when I was able to be in contact with people better. Remote living really puts a damper on the "hastiness" of things...

How long do these things usually take? I really have no basis of comparison....

What I want, more than anything - is to help as many people as possible in Canada that could benefit - a prescription. By whatever means they can.

And, with soooooo many people using MMJ, or knowing people who are - the 2015 election will be LOCKED DOWN.

Sure - it's "high" hopes - hahaha. But - cant expect things to change if I don't do everything in my power to change them...

And then - once it is legal, and I am allowed to grow my own, I will open up a weed bakery, and bake cookies for the wolrd! hahaha

I also used MMS. Great service, quality peoples.
Hey Punky, thanks for sharing this. I am getting desperate for a doc and realize that I'm going to have to suck it up and pay for a Skype service due to my remote location. If you could provide the details about how things went with MMS, I'd really appreciate it. ie. cost, how long it took to get an appointment, etc. Thanks! :)

Unless....You can't yet PM.

I don't know how long all that takes. I am cray when I find something I like, and I clearly liked this place a lot...

I want to tell you, but the backlash that comes from some people really is starting to get me down.

And it makes me angry. And I don't like me when I'm angry...

But, go to the website. Google: "Medical marijuana services".

In June when I went there, I had NO IDEA about any of this. I actually thought that MMS was the government.

But I liked them so much, and they made me feel at ease.

It cost me $350.00. But, really not long after I applied, I now am receiving my prescription in the mail and I am no longer on the pharmaceutical drugs that were making me so sick.

So, all is well in the world. I am so happy I started this journey.

I wish you the best of luck...

Thank you Yessica for the information about MMS! Gladly appreciate it especially that my wife has a skype doctor app. tomorrow! My wife will be speaking to her Dr about which LP to choose from but she is really bummed out about the waiting lists. All the good reviewed LPs are holding new patients on waitlists...Irradiated medicine is a no no for her! Btw due to living in Quebec we paid $400...depending on your location the cost for MMS might be cheaper!
