I'm embarrassed you need a gun, for fun... how does one have fun with a gun? I have BB guns that I practice target with; but those won't kill someone if I missed my shot.

Guns are not a toy.. we should stop treating them as so.

Shooting is a sport, you're aware of this correct? Even an Olympic sport. No one said they're a toy. I practice proper safety and handling of a gun every time I'm out shooting.

It's dumbasses that are afraid of guns and don't know how to handle them that are the real threat.

This video is a prime example of why we need to educate. Look how fucking pathetic his stance is. No one at that gun range should even be allowing that idiot to shoot like that. That "general" can't even properly shoot the damn thing ffs. An AR-15 should not be bouncing around on your shoulder.

going to stop you right there, it's a sport. Which is not fun it's competition. You think I don't know it's a damn sport? I hunt. But not for fun, I hate killing a poor animal for food but that's what we do.

I'm not a dumbass or afraid of any weapon. I own a gun, but I see nothing fun about it. I don't think they should be looked at even as a sport but that exists so I deal with it.

Honestly I have no issue with guns, I have an issue with putting weapons in the arms of anyone under 21. I have an issue with the fact that mentally ill, or not; previous arrests or expired license or not; you can buy a gun. (Many videos of Americans proving to the world they can get a weapon likenor the same as the shooting with little to no effort) sad. I have an issue that when a massive shooting happens in America, some how America goes; well let's give the teachers guns or let's have a security guard in the schools with a gun.

You get my point now right? I could care less about guns; if you think they are fun good for you I guess. Do I think they should be available to teens? No. Fuck no. Ou know what stupid shit I would have done with a gun at 16?? Even at 21 their brains are not fully developed so why are we putting fire arms age so low?

Fun fact; you can buy a gun at 21 but cannot rent a vehicle until your 25. (Or without someone who is 25 and with you and you pay an underage fee)

one of my wife's friends had an elderly neighbor who sometimes woke up in their house thinking it was his. he had a gun too.

we should probably just ban guns altogether. that would really trigger the cons.

She's being properly taught at a young age how to handle one. Wish more people would do it, I wouldn't be having this argument. Everyone would actually be educated enough on the subject to see the light.

I don't know which ignored person you are talking to and it's not really important although they are all narcissists and here just for the attention.

You speak true. Effective gun control laws don't mean people can't have guns for sport or to hunt for food. All one needs to do is point at Canadian gun laws to show how it works and how to do it.

Part of the what makes a narcissist who he is is an uncaring attitude to the people around them. Also their need for power, which guns most certainly give. A toxic mix. Guns are often used to menace and maintain fear in domestic violence, for example.
