A couple of days after cutting back that plant I noticed it was a bit wilty.
Later that evening I looked again and knew something wasn't right, it had wilted further, it was time to panic!
_20220401_170150.JPG
I pulled it out thinking possible root rot with the low temps and frequent feeding but no the roots are fine
_20220401_170126.JPG
but the stem didn't feel very sturdy?
The life was draining out of it, I picked up the scissors and cut the 3 best shoots from it.

And put them into a H202 mixture today everything is looking good so I moved them into my cloner.

Idk about botrytis in veg but that's my guess assuming it is possible?

Looking good bro. You sure got a lot going on. Strange about the plant keeling over. The only times I've had that was when I haphazardly messed with h202, I think I killed the beneficial stuff and that let the bad guys in.

In the earlier posts there is a clear plastic cup that appears in a few photos. Has what looks like a vial of purple liquid in it. What is that?

Cheers bro I appreciate your comment bongsmilie
That's the 1st time I've seen a plant keeling over like that?
3/4 days previous I'd trimmed the branches right back to the 1st node to get rid of all the older growth, I'm guessing that gave botrytis the opportunity to take hold?

The purple stuff in the vial is clonex rooting gel I leave in the picture so at a glance I know it's day #1

Putting it in a vial also gives me good coverage from a small amount of gel.

Yeah I had it happen a few times but it was pretty random, just one here, one there. Eventually stopped using h2o2 and it stopped happening. Your theory probably makes sense too. Maybe sterilize your snippers.

Ahhh! Clonex! Cool, now I can sleep tonight. :blsmoke: Well I'm subbed so I look forward to seeing what you pull outta this. Cheers.

Good photos bud. Plants look awesome. Sometimes that happens to my DWC plants. Especially The Alien Rift OG. I usually just change water. Hit it with heisenberg tea and rapid start, take it from under the light (they don’t get better if I don’t). Then reintroduce it to the light slowly. As soon as it wilts I pop it out basically like hardening it off or acclimating it to the light again. And keep ice bottles in the water.
Got rid of the rift though she was way to finicky.
You grows very nice bud. I’m about to do soil so I threw it on my watch.
what star dog you working with?
Thanks bud I appreciate the comment, the star dog in the picture is from the discount seed company, the buds are nice but the plant itself isn't great for indoor it's too tall, spindly and not very neighbourly I nearly cut them down on two occasions but decided it was more sensible to leave a couple of branches, I've got a clone from them but it's the last plant I'd like to grow again in regards to growth pattern and structure but if it's special I'll need to work with it... Lol deep down I'm hoping it's not special :bigjoint:

Mini monster mothers!
Cloned March 16th wk4-5 into flower.

The reason behind wk4-5 cloning is to slow things down I won't need them for a few months and I don't want a forest to light heat etc :weed:
My mini monster mum's have started actively re vegging.

21st April...topped 1 they're coming along at different speeds but all actively re vegging.
_20220422_160116.JPG
I potted 2 rooted clones for mothers into 3" pots and topped them straight away.
_20220422_160326.JPG
I've made up a capillary tray to feed them.
The pictures pretty much explains it, the valve bit isn't necessary you could hand fill it just the same however a valve and reservoir makes things easier for me.
_20220412_225922.JPG
Hole drilled for the tubing and a top hat grommet to finish it off.
_20220412_230027.JPG
A suitable material for a platform and some mesh pots, I used a hard plastic for a platform that was some sort of flooring tile?
_20220412_230052.JPG
A piece of capillary matting over the platform so it reaches the bottom at both ends or you can use suitable sized wicks if necessary.
_20220412_230124.JPG
A piece of black/white to seal out light and keep in moisture, now i just need to cut the pot sites.
_20220412_230156.JPG
Keep it filled it keeps the plants fed bongsmilie

Eta... Potted 2x King Gelato 21st April...

One plant in particular is quite bad as you can see, dry rolled up edges and burnt tips but 10 others are fine?
There fussy feed wise i find each pheno varied some were more " hungry " than others and some were pretty light feeders looks like some chunky bud u got there anyway mate

Thanks for the comment mate I appreciate that.
It's good to know they differ I'm already having a minor headache with varying ec,s now the plants are finishing up at different rates, the bluchi is almost done but the skunk, star dog and kings juice still have a bit to go.
I need a hassle free grow to recharge my batteries lol.

Cheers mate!

Monster clones 54 days since cutting, seedlings 18 days since sprouting and clones 34 days since cutting...
_20220510_135714.JPG
Clones to choose from for the next run 34 days...
_20220510_135342.JPG
Considering I had 4 shoots I'm happy enough with them for 34 days

+ seedlings for the next run

One of the skunk couldn't bear it any longer :-)
I should've netted them but it wasn't convenient with so many different strains.
_20220511_171327.JPG
Seeing this brought forward my plans to chop them over the weekend.

I've still got one to chop I might catch it tonight?
