Anyone?

Diamond mylar is mylar with a diamond print on it...so instead of reflecting the light back in one direction it reflects it around and around around and around...so the guy pocketing a commission on the sale says.

I am thinking about trying some, any opinions. Good place to get it is also needed.

It's supposed to prevent hot spots. White paint is almost as good and way cheaper. No hot spots either.

regular mylar or yeah white walls are fine, really how much difference in yeild can it make?

had the guy at hydro store tell me it actualy works better then normal mylar.. and i can say mylar deff works beter then white walls.. id go with it..

its slightyl more reflective and has no hotspots...asides from its not much diff...id only buy it if i was having hot spot issues...i use a emergency blanket for $3 lol

love my maylar i honestly noticed a difference after adding it to my grow room.

mylar 98% reflective
white paint 85-90% reflective

Mylar is king the diamond stuff altho im a noob i would go with the original stuff to me the diamond stuff just isn't worth double money

Haha I use a couple of those too. I even made a curtain out of one of em. I rotate my plants slightly once a day in case of any hot spots.

Lol. I've got a few solar blankets from old first aid kits that I use as a shroud from the light fixture down to the res. It's a bit eerie as it's a little transparent.
