ok, i just brought her inside like 2 days ago. the soil is moist. its a mix of outside dirt, deer poop, and fireplace ash. the water is from my tap, but i let it sit for a good 48 hours before the plant gets it. no nutes.

the lights are about 8 inches up above the plant, i know this is a problem, and i am currently fixing it. the lights are two 100 watt replacement CFL's with home made reflectors that work pretty darn well, the grow box is covered in white computer paper.

why are the leaves droopy? help me please, any input will help.

I do not know why there is drooping, but outside dirt inside can cause problems because of pests, some food for thought.

that really doesnt look too bad...I think thats some dirt on the leaves not discolouration? They may have a tiny shock from the move indoors. I wouldn't worry just yet

yeah, its dirt, i knew there wasnt discoloration, i was just talking about the droopiness.

i moved the plant up to meet the lights, so its now like surrounding the plant with light. its great. im redesigning a new grow box that will hold 6 of these bulbs instead of just two. im excited.

the plant pics. she looks good so far, im going to get some superthrive tomorrow if i get a chance. ill probably keep her on 18/6 until shes about a foot tall, or long, because im going tie the plant down to get the most use out of the six bulbs.

all CFL growers deserve to have one of those dinky little 13watt lights smashed in their faces so they get mercury poisoning. please upgrade, your plants will hate you if you dont.

happy new year!!! (sorry for being aggro, im fucked up tonight)

they seem to be doing fine. Why don't you start a grow journal as I'd like to follow your process. Now as far as the droopy I'm no expert but hows your soil PH? what was burnt in those ashes that you mixed in the soil with? What about your temperature?

The plant is very young and the small amount of weight from the dirt could cause the drooping. I'm not an expert just a guess..

ph, dont know, dont have a tester.

temps, its in my attic, so it kind of a mix of the outside weather plus the houses climate control. but im sure the attic stays between 60-80, ive been up there all sorts of times of the day, its never too cold or too hot.

fireplace ash was all from wood that we cut down off our property, just trees and such, no cedar though.

i was thinking of starting a journal, i think i will.

does your soil drain well? it looks very thick and settled maybe add some vermiculite or perlite to soil next time you replant

cardboard = flammable
