I would say he has some upside. From not knowing how
to gear up in 2010 to the first round two years later. Jebus
There is no way you can not be impressed with him. He is
playing for a lot more then himself too.

He's impressive, no doubt. Is he 5th pick-overall material though? The thing that worries me is that the Lions
had their minds made up at the senior bowl to take this guy, they always get stuck on stupid. If Ansah is a great
player and Milner ends up injured for Jets, then Lions look like Wizards.

I can't help but think, both Green Bay and Minnesota are going to kick our fucking heads in. Again.

Yeah it's easy for me to say it was a good pick as a NE fan. I have not had to live with the torment you guys
have endured.

On the upside he is a blank canvass and two years of being coached up could turn him into a freak. In your
division a real good pass rush is almost a necessity.

I hate to comment before this guy produces but we needed an o-line or a corner back worse than any other team and we got neither. Another same old season for the lions. Back when we could pull games off the c-band, everyone came over my house so we could watch anything but lions games....ooooffff....

I don't know stanky. With Avril and VanDenbosche leaving they needed a D-end pretty bad. Plus 3 O-linemen went in the top 4 picks. Pretty tough to take the 4'th best player at a position #5 overall.

Milliner was the best d-back available, and he had some serious injury issues in college. I think the Lions are a little gun-shy to take an injury prone player after the Javhid Best debacle.

I like the pick. He's a beast, he has tremendous upside, he's stayed healthy and he seems like a good guy that appreciates the opportunity and won't be a prima donna.

I feel much better today. Mayhew said they had several offers to trade down, just like they were claiming they wanted to do.
I think they should have taken the best offer and grab an extra pic. This was the best draft and best time to do it. But all in all,
I'd say so far, so good.

Detroit draft my grade c+ maybe bminus. The packers outdrafted the division again..tired of these. Fucks owning this division.

Not Lions related but:

I saw an interview on MLBtv yesterday with Matt Ryan high out of his mind on pills. He was scratching his nose
every other second and nodding out on his feet. I looked to see if had any off season surgery's and he did not.
I know it is very common in the NFL but always thought of MattyIce as pretty clean cut.

He has time to get the help he needs, turn his life around, and make nfl comeback.
It would take a lot of hard work, dedication, and courage. Best thing he could do is
track down Tony Dungy and ask for help. lol.

I dunno, America loves to forgive and root for the underdog and all that shit...if he gets help I bet the Raiders would sign him...
