I just bought a cool tube and looking to change the grow room setup.

as of now i'm only using the regular bathroom Vent Fan to push air out, i don't have proper hole in the wall for fresh air coming in, but in this Grow room there are 2 doors each door leading to a different bedrooms so im relying on Air coming in from the gaps under the door. i have gone through about a dozen harvests so far with this setup with 34 C 93 F temp . i know that hot but didn't have a choice and everything when ok. so i want to change it and make it better.

I have everything i need to upgrade the room to what you see in the diagram. I want to know if it looks correct? I have Fan #1 taking air out of the grow-room to outside of the house through the vent, then fan #2 I have low to the ground because the temp is 26 C 78 F down there ( pushing air though the cool tube and outside. i want to know will the 2 fans conflict when they meet by the vent on top? should i eliminate Fan #1? Thank You in advance for any help.

He's being sarcastic, thats a terrible diagram.

why two fans? you just need one
no, i thought the diagram was cool.

he may not need the extra fan for the cooltube, but it wouldn't hurt. doesn't need to send cool air through it though, just move the air.

well sorry but it get my point through. sorry about the bad diagram. I thought by having 2 fans sending air out would make up for no air coming in other then the gap under the doors.

Passive intake should be all ya need

Infact if you're running a carbon filter you'll need to make sure you have good negative pressure

ok so ill remove Fan 1 and ill move fan 2 close to the vent on top to make it a passive air. that should be ok?

Make sure you have a vent open so your tent doesn't implode on you with the inline fan running. My setup is similar just on larger scale, make sure your fan is always running for air exhange especially in flower your don't want to spike humidity and get mold on your flowering buds. Your other fan will come in handy one day with a veg tent or ebay or when the one your using gives out. if it makes you feel any better my turds are rare artifacts of art prized in many locations

That's amazing man thank you so much. my main worry was air coming in to the grow room. I'm renting currently but my house will be done in a year and i requested a second laundry room in the basement, made sure its big room so i can make a veg room.

Also make sure said vent doesn't cause any light leak in the night cycle

Hi Safari420
Where is the carbon filter/scrubber on your diagram?
(And it's an OK diagram - it serves its purpose, which is all that matters).

I agree that an intake fan in unnecessary.
The negative air pressure created by the extraction fan will cause an adequate passive air intake.

If you run more than one cool tube/ventilated hood it is often better to have a separate, smaller fan just to serve the reflectors
and another fan for the odour filter and air exchange issues.

Using a RvK315A1L1 to cool three hoods and power a 12" Filter can be problematic.

Each new connection and bend decreases efficiency of the system.

Far better to divide the tasks between 2 smaller fans.
