Design Help, 2-1000's or 4-400's watts?

I have 1 1000 on a 6 foot mover and it covers a 7 by 6 area ( a little more if I had it in a different situation). It is very nice. Take a look at my grow journal. It would be excellent to double it.

Ruva has the set up I need/want. I think I will add the light mover since my grow area is 6x10ish, i can see this ending up using all 8x12 area the last few weeks of the grow.
Need to trench the power over to my shed next week. I have 10 gauge wire running past the shed, down to our horse stalls, so tapping in shouldn't be to tough.

The purpose of the light rail isnt only to extend coverage, it also helps keep the plants from developing a canopy. Moving the light gets light where there would otherwise be shadows.

Thanks for the info.
I think I got it together in my head, but not sure if Ruva's "bat wing" set up will work, may need to use "cooling hoods" and run ducting and exhaust.
Is this what you use (light rail w/add a lamp) or just a suggestion? Is there pictures? Would luv to see some.

the 400 watt ones will be better because you get a more even distribution of light, more point sources for light, and one is able to put the lights closer to the plants (bushier more dense plants and nugs. 3 400watt lights will cover 30 - 40more percent grow area than one 1000 watter and produce less heat.

3 400's????

I'd do 2 600's before i did 3 400's. For the same amount of power, 600's would put out nearly 7% more light.

Not to mention it'd be cheaper buyin two lights instead of 3.

1k's is the way to go though.

the only true thing about this statement refers to the 400's creating less heat.

1000 watters on light movers will kick the ass of the 400's
