Desert heirloom tomatoes!

Some desert heirloom tomatoes and basil. Planted in 7g fabric pots in Empire Builder soil.

What variety of heirlooms are you growing? I did a desert grow with chocolate cherrys, tigerellas, pineapple, and a few others i cant remember. they were all delicious tomatoes, especially the chocolate cherrys and the pineapple tomatoes. low acidity huge flavor. my roommate that cannot eat tomatoes regularly because they fuck his stomach up from the acid loved them and did not give him very much stomach problems.

anyone have a link for a seed catalog on those heirlooms? the pineapple one i really want to try.

The pineapple ones are delicious. Growing them for the second time this year. Baker creek has all heirloom seeds and a huge selection. Rareseeds.com is their website.

Try nativeseeds.org they have lots of good stuff for growing in the low/high desert.
