going through a custody battle and the DSS is more then likely going to do a walk through on my home. Wondering if I tell them that the room is occupied or used for storage and is locked... Will they want to enter that room.... My grow room is in there instead. I could stack boxes and everything up so that the room is jammed with storage. Anyone have any experience with DSS?

If you're fishy about it they will notice people try to hide a lot
Or they may not care at all

You could do what I did and have some signs made that say "DARKROOM - PHOTO-SENSITIVE MATERIALS - DO NOT OPEN" Tell them your a photographer.

Is there any way to move the plants ? Are you in a legal state ? Or illegal ?

Why would you risk anything involving custody of your kids. Take it down put on your best Cliff Huxtible sweater and do what you gotta do. When you get everything squared away put it back together.

They more often than not look at where the children sleep. And the kitchen, refrigerator for food. Have food not alcohol. They can inspect not invade.

Move the grow out. It wont hurt your plants to be without light for a day or 2. An ounce of prevention is a pound of cure

Don't fuck around or your going to get got. Non legal state status (you're fucked) legal state (at least where I live) no paperwork no grow period or your fucked. Ditch all that shit until your life becomes more "under the radar" ya feel me.

2 things I do NOT play around with is CPS amd ass holes with guns.

Does the other person trying to get custody know about your operation? If so, don't you think they would have informed social services in order to gain leverage?

I hate to sound preachy but if you're going through a custody battle not having anything grow related in your home is your best option. If you really want to win you'll do anything right? Get rid of your plants. Don't try to hide anything because that makes you look even more untrustworthy.

Basically, care about getting the kids? GET RID OF THE PLANTS DUMMY.

tell them get a warrant ......the room is locked and rented by a friend who is using it for storage

as it is not your area(your friend gives u 100 a month) in effect it is like he is renting it so the laws apply .......they want to go in there they need his ok or a warrant to enter it

put a pad lock with a key on the door ...tell them he has the key ......they try to enter they would need to break the door and that requires a warrant or u have a law suit on them for breaking your stuff ( u can have them arrested on the spot )


the area is not under your control they have no right to enter it ........it be like if someone rented a room and lived in it at your place (that area is under that person control) u have right but to enter it with out their ok u would need to place a 3 day notice on the door after 72 hours u can enter it legally (like apartment manager)


if u do not want to play it like that then u have the back up plan
rent a u haul truck move the plants and all into that for the walk tho ........make sure u park it in the shade ......when they are done wait until dark and move all the stuff back in
to tie the plants down ......rope tie it to one side then wrap it around the planter loop tho the other side of the wall tighten it down do the next plant until the rope runs out .......it will allow u to drive and take turns with out them falling over

then u need to open up the truck let it air out for a few hours (or spray stuff in it) then return it .......u are looking at like 2 days rental with very little mileage used

That's some piss poor advice it really is. Tell DSS they need a warrant or smuggle pot plants out of the house. Wow just wow.

it is the law ....they used it to fuck us ....use it to fuck them

Police and cps will do what ever the fuck they want to do. Now a days, your GUILTY until you can prove your innocent. If your a broke ass, well good luck fighting the system.

i got a cop fired for entering my house with out premission

he wanted to talk to me about something i would not return phone calls .......i was down sleeping in my bed and this detective comes into my rom and wakes me up ....i pulled a gun on him and called 911 (sleep with a shotgun next to me )

he tried to say my mother allowed him in was a bold face lie at that time my mom was sick and bed ridden .......she could not get up and the amount of pain pills she was on she could not yell i was 15 at the time

legally i could of shot him and got away with it as he did a felony and he was armed in my house
how do i know this 2 years before i shot a bb gun into a window and the person go really crazy .....i said give me a sec let me put the bb gun down and talk i walked into the house and he fallowed me yelling i am going to kill u .....i picked up a hatch and told him come and get some .....he called the cops on me but it was him who went to jail for breaking and entering and terrorist threats

I understand the law and you're correct they would need a warrant, but why would you be a hard on with people who are going to decide whether or not you're gonna have custody of your kid's. Sometimes you need to choose your battles wisely, swollow your pride, kiss some ass, become Greg Brady for as long as it takes. Plants can be grown again, lights can be hung, and money can be replaced. It's small potatoes compared to what could happen. I don't have kids, but most people would sacrifice anything for their kids

It's obvious he has no children
Some people wanna be the hard ass all the time
The reality is you need priorities in life
If your grow room is more important than your children
Maybe they should be with the other parent

If you live in a "legal" state just fill the room up and say it's storage.

If you live in a no tolerance zone then you should really decide what's important man.

I could not imagine living without my daughter let alone trying to fight a custody battle. I would drop everything to win
