Dense vs. Airy / Fluffy buds - Does it make a difference?

Okay, so I was just looking at some of the buds I've harvested from my first grow and it seems like most of them are pretty fluffy (I grew 2 plants and only harvest half of one). So I was just wondering does this actually make any difference when getting you high?

Just looking for thoughts on this, I think bag appeal is better with dense stuff, but it all smokes the same right? I think my other plant is going to be way more dense so not a huge issue, was just wondering...

Yes I agree with you. If for personal consumption then fluffy will be fine. Not for showing off though.

you could also use fluffy buds as a duster around the house JK have fun smoking...

fluffy buds will get you just as high i think. i had this bag of homegrown. and i preferred it. the buds were fluffy, but they smoked really well. compared to the other denser stuff i got. i think there is alot of hooplah and hype in the weed culture. its liek a cool thing that happens, so everyone tries to outdo everyone. to the point where perfectly fine fluffy buds are just spit at. i say buds are buds. i think of it like this. you go to another country. they have a weird food there. lets call it "choonklah" EVERY store and merchant sells choonklah. its so good. u buy it anywhere and you love it. then after living there quite a while you have grown used to the choonklah and now look for the best one.

Obviously density has nothing to do with trichome production or thc levels. So I would have to believe that both types of buds will get you just as high, but smoke differently.

density has to do with weight the reason growers shoot at making dense buds is that they weigh morefor instance a dense cola imo is much nicer than a fluffy one. fluffy colas just disappoint at the end once it has shrunk. A lot of newbs get fluffy since it requires a mastering of the strand. I recommend u grow the same strain for a year and become a pro at 1 or 2 strains and u will produce a lot of dense bud. Remember air conditions and proper feeding schedule is important.

For intance last summer my addict grow room had 30c temperature and 70% humidity along side with my newbness to growing, over boosting alll the plants gave me a 700g that looked like 1000 grams i was mad happy until i weighed it. ahhhhh u live and you learn.
