Dehumidfiers

I usually turn the dehumidifier on full blast for the first few days while they are upside down. After that I let them hang for a few more days without the dehumidifier. Then I move to the canning method for up to 3 weeks. My question is should I not use the dehumidifier basically most of the day full blast? I have been getting some abnormally dry, crunchy and rather flavorless buds despite their beauty. Should I do more canning than hanging to achieve a more stanky, flavorful and fresh harvest? - thanks, :joint:chief

A good curing process slows down the drying process, so that more biological activity can take place, making for a smoother, tastier smoke. The dehumidifier will just speed things up.
