Deformed leaves?

One of my plants has these weird curling leaves and also sticks out a little more than my other normal plants
I dont know if theres anything wrong with it, cause it seems to be growing fine, but kind of curious if it may be a problem later on

your babie was born with a slight deformity, like a human with a cleft palate. as long as it is growing fine and the new growth looks good, its nothing to worry about.

You might want to move your light down a tish, plant seem a lil stretched. You might also want to put them into different pots. Don't want the roots running together. Best off luck. The deformed leaves are most likly a side effect from lack of light. Best of luck:joint:

agree on the stretching part, but the leaves being deformed arent from a light deficiency. i have had numerous plants outdoor whose first leaves were deformed like that and much worse, but under of plenty of sunlight so no light def. only affects the first set of leaves other leaves come out fine. btw, what kind of light(s) are you using?

You might wanna try atleast a few more of those CFLs. You can cut soda can open and use them as reflectors(their are a lot of threads you could find to show you what that looks like), to help with the amount of light that gets to them.

as long as they are true 75w and not 75w equivilant that should be enough for two seedlings but you will need more light later on in the grow. cfls need to be close to the plants to be most efficient and to prevent stretching. i use two 85w cfl for side lighting and they are safe down to like one inch away, but i'd recommend @3 in. away cause they can grow alot from day to day and you dont want to burn them

they look like they are reaching for the light to much... the stems should be 3x the thickness... better get that light closer or 1 morning you will find them dead and fallin over onto the dirt..

BRING THE LIGHT CLOSER!

I'm using CFL and I keep the light 1 inch above the top of the plant almost touching. dont touch it though it will burn it.
