deformed clones

IMG_0866.jpgIMG_0867.jpgHello all. I am a new member.

I raised from seed WW, Silver LA, MK and Pure Kush.
From these mothers I cloned and my 1st harvested clones were good.
I cloned from these clones and these plants look deformed. One of the Silver LA clones only has one leaf per branch and not the usual pot leaf.
I doesn't look like a pot plant.
These rest of these 2nd gen clones look more "bushy" than the original mothers.

Secondly are there just so many time that you can recycle your dirt?
I am on the 3rd use. Do I need to recondition?

Lastly I found that all of the cured buds from these strains basically smelled the same.
The also had a similar taste. The WW had a slightly different and stronger taste. The WW was the most potent of all.

I am using only 8 T5s for flowering and 4 T12s for veg.
Using Miracle Grow for veg and Miracle Grow Bloom for flower.
Very cheap set up but pretty good results and low heat.

I just added pics as requested. The plant on left is silver LA. The right is WW. Notice the leaf count on both. Strange.

Thanks for your input.

You gotta post pictures. . Words don't do enough. I've heard mg causes a certain taste with bud but I'm not saying it's 100%.. I'd look up genetics and see if they're from the same parent etc.

As far as soil goes I've never seen people really recommend using the same soil over and over again. . ESPECIALLY bought soil such as MG..

Edit: also cloning from clones results in weaker genetics.

Cloning a clone is fine .....

Sunshine is right.
I've cloned plants for years and there is no degeneration.

Let's see some pix.

You can't keep using the same soil unless it's organic and it needs a rest after a grow.

Some plants will look weird at first, they revert back to being a seed with only a few big leafs.
Some can be bushy because they are established.

Thanks for the pix.
Those look like normal reveging clones but too much nitrogen in your soil.
They look dark green and the burned tips.

You can clone from a clone.. I never said you couldn't.. your genetics weaken over time
