I'm wondering if taking the little stuff off the bottom will benefit theses girls.
If it's at the bottom then it's not blocking light. I'd just leave them alone. They look nice as is. Looks like you already took some of the bottom. Kinda like a Mary Jane plant lollipop

I would say it depends entirely on your environment and style of growing. If it was me, I would probably leave it or maybe lollipop it another node up because I grow vertically and hate larf. If you grow normally (horizontally) and are using smaller lights (like a 250w or 400w instead of a 1kw) you may want to go another node up so that you maximize the efficiency of the lights in terms of overall penetration. More info about your setup would help make an informed suggestion.

Another node wouldn't hurt on the first pic, on the second i would leave it as be but like i said before another node wont hurt,

I guess ill take a tiny bit from the first one and let the other go. As for my setup I'm using a 400w hps. 5x5x7 framed out room. 71 degrees and about 35% humidity. Black strap molasses unsulphured. Water at 6.5ph and fox farm tiger bloom. That's it pretty simple.. i do spend about 2 hours every night massaging stems moving them around. Plenty of interaction they receive.
