Defoliation right before 12/12

Hey guys. have researched about defoliation being a good stressor for a plant, whereas it will focus in more vigorous growth. So I just defoliated her and I'm wondering if I should give her few days to recover before 12/12 or can I flip her straight away?

I just had two hermie on me that I believe was from cutting the fan leaves off right after flipping to 12/12. I've never cut fan leaves before, always left them on. This particular grow I needed to because my tent was getting too crowded. I feel it stressed them out and I read somewhere that if she feels she is in danger she will focus on seed production so life can continue. Or something along those lines lol. Maybe they hermied for different reasons but my environment was dialed in, I can only suspect it was from cutting the fan leaves.

I would recommend you give her at least a week to recover!

Most hermies are genetic..
I've been pluckin leaves for years, never had a hermie till I started using Fem seeds..

Are you guys that are flipping right after trimming trying to keep things really short?

I typically do quite a bit of training in veg, usually about 6 weeks, but wait till growth gets back to normal speed with mine. Never had any get overly tall, and i feel like the air space under them helps with airflow

I planned so...But I noticed how little nugs are stemming out now and reaching upwards, matching all the top ones...sooo I decided to go deeper into a veg, and even her out evenly even more and let all of them nodes grow into branches and turn into main colas main bus sites with all the other top of the surface...and then I will flower her out. Will definitely be worth more end product..

Just read up on how fem seeds are made... I believe you're right. But you don't think it's possible that me cutting the leaves on a fem seed plant caused it to hermie?
