Should I start defoliation on this one? Or is it best to not defoliate during this time?

Tuck them under the sites its covering. But getting rid of leaves especially at the size its at is ill advised. What if leaves are covering new branches? I have been low stressing my photoperiod plants and fan leaves are covering tops. The plants are 23-25 days. I plan on switching the light cycle at 5 weeks or 34-36 days old. Some of the fan leaves are already massive. If the fan leaves are removed, won’t the new tops photosynthesize more? Removing the fan leaves may increase the potential of the tops because they will have more opportunity to photosynthesize.
Nope, not even close. You will just slow down growth. I suggest trying out pinching your dominant tops to create the structure you want before flip. By pinching the dominant tops you temporarily create auxillary dominance and as a result the lower branches grow.Should I start defoliation on this one?
