Right on, hope this works.

Sorry, I had to crop it, I leaned in too far and got my ugly mug in the clip, I wasn't gonna do it again and go through the upload. The software I used to crop it, for free, watermarked the video too . . . . . oh well, I'll look into better free video editing software another time . . . . any suggestions, looking for video cropping and perhaps face pixelating software :)

IMGP4405.JPG week5aptus057.jpg TBH you would get more yield if you left plant alone , one only has to ask them comercial growers they must of been doing wrong all along lol not some things are just left to be by removing leafs you not only stressed plant you really effected allot more then you think respiratory function and most importantly c02 uptake less stomata means less c02 intake And Hey we all know what happens to plants when there c02 injected ??? the blow the fuck up week5aptus057.jpg

The agitation of the "repair cycle"?? Multitudes of hormones / vitamins / n the rest rushing to a site for repair, only to find not much damage, so the energy is used to promote the site that was damaged . . . .imho . . . .

Humungous plants in nature, do not get that big with out being savaged by, insects, environment, fire . . . .etc . . . . surely . . . . (just a thought everyone.)

Vapes, I understand the luxuries of commercial growing; I. personally do not have that sort of space, so I am trying absolutely everything, mad as it may seem, to get as much from my few plants as possible . . . . so far, defoliation in a small space, brings me 20 to 40% more yield . . . . truley . . . . .

its not possible to yield more when you are removing parts of the plant and leaving space in the grow area
it can only possibly work if you pack the area with more plants than normal to fill the space quicker,
then remove any weaker branches and leaves to make room for the thickest growing branches this reduces popcorn and fills the space with colas quicker

what you are doing is removing leaves from tiny plants that have very few to begin with, they will just regrow the leaves
it will not make them grow more shoots or cause any other growth spurt or benefits

(Yeah yeah, a touch more PnK and a wee bit less N . . . . lol)

NO WAY IN HEAVEN will you achieve as many bud sites like this, in the space I'm given, without defol!

dude again one thing is pruning a plant which is done normally early veg and in fall but what your doing is removing the very essence of what the plants need in them leafs and that is the starches and sugars in that leaf that was converted in the root zone and plant made and stored in its leafs ..
By removing them leafs all your doing is starving the plant which to me is STRESS and further more pending on stability of the strain can hermie on you
and with that said you talking chemical change further proving i am right now plant has to convert energy from actual other parts of the plant to correct / or repair it self ???
so now you took energy away from possible root growth or other major production from the plant

of course, your plant is a poor example it looks skinny and bare, taking all those leaves off has reduced its yield , you are a plant molester !

i have not removed any leaves from this plant yet, but i will most likely remove some when it stretches
its at day 4 of 12 hours its 3.5 ft high 3ft deep and 3.5 ft wide, and has 600w hps above and 400w mh to the side
it should yield around 18-25 oz not sure how much it will stretch after 5 weeks veg, when it was a seed with 3 weeks veg it stretched 4 times
i expect it to at least stretch to 6ft or take up a space of 1.5 m2

You slowed other processes down and also again i stress CO2 with less co2 there is less metabolic rate meaning less nutrient uptake and less sugars and starches being made
i am pretty sure your soils are staying wet longeractually i am 100 percent possitive and not only when a def or burn starts to appear it will attack plant faster and less time for you to see it with taking away that much leafs and pant scrambling Disease can set in also quicker remember a healthy plant is key sorry lol

now i am going out side take a picture of a plant brb :)

Holy shit guys I've missed alot. Semper, you're taking it to the extreme, I don't have any experience with being that aggressive..

I haven't even taken a single leaf off of any of these yet because there is plenty of room for light / airflow /plant spacing.

Still will follow your grow to see how it comes out, but I'm not sure if that much defol could be good, in flower anyway?

Oh, my veg defol. Defol clone is going to crush the non defol clone. Even the roots seem to be affected by being much bigger than the non defol
