I have grown alot of ways. Scrog, sog, mainline, toppings, and natural.
The difference in the end was varied. Best gpw was a scrog, but was more labor intensive.

What you put in is what you get might be more work but being more involved you will find things or resolve issues before they become detrimental at added light penatration and air flow will thank you in the end

I've never defoliated because I've never needed to. The plants I grow almost always have a very low leaf-to-bud ratio to begin with....and then, I also let my plants grow a long time and they almost always turn yellow and drop the leaves as they ripen. Or, they come off with the slightest tug. I feel like the plants are using whatever is left in those leaves and when the leaves become used up, then the plant sheds them. This also allows the flowers more exposure to light and airflow, too, so it seems like a natural design. By the time, I chop and hang the plants, there's really not a lot of trimming left.

One of the most ridiculous things I've read on this site.

King Avitas can say anything they want.

Your advice is not needed. People have been growing weed very successfully long before you showed up. As far as reflecting your name, anyone that needs to call themselves alphadog definitely isn't an alpha.

Have a nice day.

And you should.

Tone says a lot. Something your protege didn't pick up.

:peace:
If I had room to grow the type of plants I like to grow outside I wouldn't pick a single leaf. But with an 8x4 table that is basically over crowded, I honestly have no choice but to take buckets full of leaves out.

Always funny when I see people crying about removing a few leaves. This is how we do, full strip right before flip. This is really only for scrog where your trying to get as many tops as possible and get rid of anything below the screens that will end up being larf. Basically removing everything except the top 2-3 nodes that’s at the top 25% of the plant. Also use this as a time to bend over(super crop) the main tops. If your feed and everything is on point they bounce back and within 3-4 days you can’t even tell they were stripped. Last pic is 5 days after.
