So there's a little back story with this SoCal Master Kush. About a year ago, I made a run to Harborside to acquire some new genetics for myself and a fellow patient. I grabbed 3-5 each of Sour Diesel, Granddaddy Blueberry, Blue Dream, Chem 4, Grape Ape, Master Kush and Dream Queen to mother out. We knew the Blue Dream, C4, and DreamQueen were great cuts because i had grown them before, from the same clone vendor, Dark Heart Nursery. All of the other cuts were from regular clone vendors of Harborside, except the Master Kush, which was tucked away on the back top shelf with no light on them. Which they said was brought in by a random vendor. Usually, i dont buy cuts that arent from reputable vendors because i've had a few bad experiences. But, the cuts looked real healthy, and my buddies old gamer tag was Mast3rKush and i knew he always wanted to grow it so i picked it up. We grew them all into mothers and took clones. The MK was one of the slowest vegging moms out of the bunch. So, we decided to only clone of one mom and flower the other. It was then, that she started to shine. She was one of the healthiest, shiniest plants in the flower room. she really beefed up fast compared to how she vegged. By week six, she started getting purple hues and really stacking on resin.. I had never seen a Master Kush that looked like this one. I thought the labels might've been messed up on the trays at the dispensary or something. that's when i started poking around the internet. I found out it was the SoCal Master Kush cut! We gave a clone to our buddy to grow outdoors, set 2 aside to grow into moms, and prepped the rest to flower indoors. My friend, who hasent been growing for even a full year, keeps having success with it even when he makes mistakes. It was also my buddies highest quality and highest yielding plant outdoors!. Everyone kept flowering all of their MK clones and only keeping one or 2 moms. So after almost a full year, I was finally given 2 clones to mother out! Patience is a virtue. So, here they are. They have been topped 2-3times each so far. i've just been waiting for my flower room to finish up so i could move my GDP's into flower and free up some space for these SoCal MK moms. They will get transplanted into 5gallon pots within the week! Stay tuned for transplant pictures! and feel free to post or share your SoCal Master Kush pics or experiences!
