aren't all deficiencies just a symptom of ph issues? ph swings in either direction will lock out nutes and stunt the growth? i have found a good flush will unlock those nutes, most people will try more nutes and compound their problems. watch your ph and it will direct you. dont over do your nutes, you will burn the heck out of your plants. your ph in soil should generally be between 6.2 and 6.8. dont know for hydro but i know its a touch lower.

Most the time it's PH IMO

But sometimes you have an actual calcium (or whatever) deficiency.

Always check PH first
