Defic., Mites, Burn?

  • My question to you guys is what you think is wrong with the leaves I've attached below, cause I'm just not sure? Also should I remove these leaves or just leave them be?

I transplanted these clones 15 days ago and over watered early on. They haven't been watered in 5 days and my moisture meter says the soil is still wet. I double checked by digging down a few inches and it's definitely still moist. I'm growing in FFOF Soil with 3-gallon pots. They're currently in vegging stage, and are clones I purchased. I should also note that about 4 days ago I used "Fox Farms Grow Big" at 1/4 the prescribed dosage in a Supplemental Foliar Feeding method, IE 1 gallon water + 1/4 tbsp Grow Big in a Spray Bottle. I sprayed them about 4 times and only used less than half the fine mist spray bottle.

So I'm just really curious on the exact diagnosis! I have been watching closely for any mites and have yet to see anything. As always all advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read my post.

I dont see any mite damage. But note that whatever is going on started at the edges of the leaf and moving inward..

if you nute burned the plants alot of the leaf tips will be burnt( in my experience)

You said you bought those clones? Was the burned leafs already there?

The tops look alright so i think ull be fine

Hey thanks for the response. The burned leafs were not already there when I purchased the clones. He did warn me they can burn if my MH 400W was to close. Which for some reason I had to close for the first few days.

A little nute burn but not bad hence the yellow tips. The spotting is I believe a calcium deficiency. Get a little calmag and you should be fine. Also get those dead leaves out of the pots or you'll be back on here asking to identify the bugs on your leaves. Good Luck.

Oh crap, getting them out right away! Also can I remove these leaves or just let them continue growing?

No don't remove the leaves they still have plenty of life. Don't ever remove leaves, when the plant is done with its leaf it will drop it then just pick it up and throw it away. Just fix the cal mag issue and youll be fine. The damaged leaves may not recover but they are still alive . Good Luck

Alright this kind of scares me because the I already pinched some similar looking leaves a few days ago. I than realized it was a bad idea, hence why I made this post. I hope that does not come back and bite me in the butt!

So home remedies for cal / mag defic. What can I use? I've also got Fox Farm's "Grow Big" which can be watered directly into soil or through a supplemental foliar feeding. The backs guaranteed analysis says Nitrogen, Phosphate, Potash, Magnesium, Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, and Zinc.. I really appreciate all the support. You guys have been MUCH help. Plus it's fun to talk about our favorite goddess! =-D
