Deer

There are incredible amounts of deer near the area I have plants. At one time I saw six deer in the vicinity of one of my plants. I read about an egg solution of 80/20 water and egg yolks respectively. I applied it to the plants a few days ago.Hopefully it's working.

I'll keep posting on how effective it is. Anybody else know of some good deer deterrents?

hang unwanted cd's near your plants ...works great! depending on your stituation that could be a bad idea though

Yea, I think that might attract people more than repel deer.

I live in an area with a very high deer population and have done a few outdoors grows with no problems although it's gross it works, just pee all around your plants. Not close enough to get in the plants soil but on the whole surrounding area, if you can't get to your grow area easily then jut save is in two liters or something and bring it with you when you go...deer hate the smell of human urine, I've also heard that soapy water works but have never tried it.

When I was a kid, we used to go camping, and we pee at the base of trees. The deer, for whatever reason, would eat away the bark where we had peed. Very confusing.

just stat pissing in a gallon jug and pour it around the perimiterof your grow site

find a good spot, a spot where deer wouldnt want to go, deer are follied by the evolutionary 'easiest route' trait, if you walk through the woods you can see where deer walk and other animals. animals wont go out of there way to get where their going, esp for food in the summertime, maybe come fall but regardless, they wont walk through a bush to get to a river, they will just follow the same trail everyday all day, what i ususally do is take some clippers with me, find a nice big thorn bush and cut a crawl space into it, once you do that cut out and area for 3-5 plants, bang theres 1 spot, time to find 10 more hope this helps

start killing the deer bro n butcher them then burn the carcus that will take care of em. or jus shoot a gun n scare the crap out of them

they liked the taste of ur piss lol, that does sound weird, or put an easier food source around it like apples or old bananas but the pissin should work

Put pegs all around the grow area make sure these are put in deep take a hammer and bang them suckers home.then put some fishing monofilament get about 15lb all the way around the grow area.the fishing line is invisible to look at from a disstance infact you can get close before seeing it.has soon has the deer walk into this it will spook them,and they will be off deer are realy easy to spook with this approach.if you do this at differant heights you will find it spooks alot of animals they think it is a trap so they run i have watched rabbits and deer spook of this method.or shoot them and sell the venison it brings a good price.

A Rifle seems to work well

ok i collected my piss, cut my hair off, brushed my dog's hair out, hung rags with piss on them around my plot, and none of them worked... then i bought a commercial product (Repels-All) and my deer problems went away ... amazing what happened when i had to spend money.. but look for a guaranteed product because if it doesnt work you can take it back and get refunded

It's been a week and everything's deer-free. Seems to be working so far.
