I had some problems with deer swallowing 75% of my harvest last year other than that I would of pulled close to 2p's. If anyone has used this net or knows someone who has please fill me in.

Hey Cheto, I use it, and it works amazing.

Every time I go out to my plot, every time, I hear deer scampering away. Deer tracks are everywhere. They can't get to the plants because of the netting though.

It's great because it's hard to see from even 30 feet away, especially in a forest setting.

This is the one I usually buy, but I think it's pretty much the same stuff as your link:

I would say the less unnatural things you have near your grow the better. i would look toward an organic way to repel deer, human urine, human hair...etc..
the last thing i want is for a tree hugger to be walking along and see a net and wonder what it is doing out in the woods...hmmm, might investigate.

Honestly, if you've got foot-traffic going by your site, then it's not a great site to begin with.

This netting is virtually undetectable unless you're right on it; I've walked into it, and I 'supposedly' know where it's at...haha.

You could try to go with the putting down some sort of chemical deterrent, and it might work.

This netting will work, however.

If someone is close enough to your plot to stumble upon your netting, they would find your weed anyway.

this works, believe it or not.
Blend an egg in a quart/liter of water. Mix that "solution" into a gallon of water and sprinkle it over your plants with a watering can.
You have to repeat every time it rains as it will wash off.

cut bars of soap and if you have dogs or cats you can brush their hair and spread it around that is the best way to deter any animals! shampoo is also very good too!!

http://www.deer-departed.com/deer-repellent-recipes.html there is an option. Also do not use em as a spray but yet dump the shit on the ground in spots around your plants 10 feet away.

Those are all good ideas guys, but the OP asked about this netting.

If you don't have any experience using it, recommending a completely different solution isn't gonna help.

Most especially if your alternative to using the above deer netting is putting down some chemical/repellent that could either be ignored by a hungry enough deer (if they're starving and hungry enough, they'll walk right by it), or washed away in a day with a light rain.

Here's an old school trick. trap yourself a stray domestic cat, kill it and nail it to a tree nearby your plants. deer will stay away from the area completely. they cannot tell the difference in scent between a domestic house cat and a bobcat or cougar.

LOL...didn't mean to hurt your feelings champ.

But again, if you wanna feel like your helping someone, help someone who has a more general question about critter protection...not a specific question about a specific item that you obviously haven't used.

Everyone knows about soap, urine, and all the other crap that sorta protects some outdoor/guerrilla crops. When deer are hungry (and on the verge of death due to starvation) a little soap, a few moth balls, or some piss won't deter them from eating tender cannabis plants.

A physical fence in deer-netting will.
