How does it work?
Halibut for instance:
Pack raw fillets into the cans until full, add salted water to the rim & bake in oven to specified temp for specified time, Use the machine to seal the lid (takes 20 very easy revolutions of the handle to seal a can), pressure cook @ specified temp & pressure. Flip them upside down & dunk them in water to see bubbles (bad). Bathe them in cool water & dry on a kitchen towel - sharpie a date on that puppy & throw it in the pantry.

Canned Tuna? pshhh - Meet canned halibutt, good luck keeping up.

I'd pay you for some canned venison. Maybe canned in some cannabis extract.

I made this a few days ago. It is deer meat, potatoes, onions, mushrooms, carrots, corn, green beans, brown gravy mix, mushroom gravy mix and a cup of homemade grape wine.

The other night my wife stuck a couple roosters we cleaned in the crock pot all night and shredded them the next day. Chopped up some pickles, onion, chives, and bacon to make some chicken salad. I've been eating on it for two days.

That, too, looks fucking delicious.

Thank you. It was. Its normal to have to feed 6-7 people here at dinner. That is a pretty big crock and it was gone in one evening.
Kids, yeah? Someday for me, hopefully. I want to be a father. A good one. My girl and I like to cook, but we've been living solely off my 60% VA pension. She just got an interview at a retirement home and I'm just getting back to school, so in the near future, maybe we'll cook something up to bring to the figurative table.

Might sound kinda girlish but I love cooking for friends & family, especially when hunting..
I try to be humble, but I get pressed into cooking (which everyone knows I like anyway) more often than not & think that I can cook with some of the best improvisational chef's given limited ingredients.

Bear hunting I cooked Parmesan halibut w/ a mango chutney (& fresh garlic slivers).

I promise I won't let you get skinny.

I really want to try bear, bison, boar, gator, and elk or moose.

I've had a really good time eating all of those & should you show up in this neighborhood could help with moose easily - I intend on whacking several Sitka Black tail this fall so there's that too.
I would definitely show up if I knew where and when I have the means. Not that I don't. I'd just have to plan.

Yea. Three. But always have a straggler or two. People know they are welcome to eat here. I always have someone show up a dinner.

Its the thing to do. I had a buddy go through a divorce and job loss and some other stuff. He was hungry and I told him I always made extra. He ate with us every night for a couple months.

We've had upwards of 12 guest's in the last 3 or so years - friends on hard times that we asked nothing of.
It's kind of a blessing to be able to help.
