two nights ago i transered a sour kush seedling into a mix of Happyfrog, perlte, and ocean forest, 40/20/40, after transfering her i gave her fresh un-nuted water, just out of curiousity (since i recently bought a digital EC meter) i checked the concentraton of the runoff...Out of range it said, right then i went OH F*CK, what the hell, why is it so high, so i read a few forum posts this morning, come to find out that fox farm is using different sources for there soils now,(east coastnow instead of west coast) and there HOT AS HELL, i guess alot hydro shops have sent back pallets of fox farm products because of unhappy results, so

back to 2 nights ago, so i immediattly flushed with 7 gals of fresh water (4gallons of soil), i checked it today and just the the outside edge of the tip of the lowest set of old leaf its turning light green, again only slightly, now its been in the medium for 42 hours now, should i take it out and put it in some other soil, I bought some promix bx just incase i need to, or do you think she might be ok, i dont want to risk this seedling, one of a kind ive been reading!!!

hard to call for sure..if you dont want to risk it, i'd say transplant out of the shady fox farm batch into the promix. whats the meter read after the flush?

40/20/40 is alot of neuts for a seedling. and the plant in your pic is just fine. yes it would possable get worse later but your because your reactions to a problem that basically hasnt even started yet you should be fine......id make sure your ph is 7 and maybe flush out as much neuts as possable as you did but as long as your ph is at 7 you will reduce alot of the damage

to clarify this; 40/20/40
thats NOT the ratio of my fertilizer mix (i use advanced Sensi nutes when i feed) thats my mix of soil 40% happy frog 20% perlite added extra 40% ocean forest ive been using this mix since december when my hydro store started me on something new and my first 2 runs with it flourished so i figured why change something thats doing great....although i made up a batch of subcools supersoil on the 4th of july so startng the 5th of august everything gonna be roots organic, supersoil, and plain ole RO water. my friend at work started t a couple of months ago and hes having great results.
