DEEP FREEZE! From trash, to ultimate in concieled grow! Led, soil, scrog.

So, here we go! Day 2 in my junkyard freezer grow. I've droped 10 bag seeds into there germinating cups... gonna take 2 clones from the best 6 in the group and force the parents to show sex early. Then I will kill the dudes and trash the parents to start with good she-stock. So, here is the home I have built these lucky ladies:

-Early 70's Whirlpool freezer 30" tall, with a 2ft by 4ft interior foot print. Gutted the hardware to make room for ventilation components while keeping the absolute stealth in tact. Complete with exterior rust and dents. 240w lighthouse Blackstar L.E.D. Home made soil.

Tune in and enjoy this show.

What sets us growers apart from everyone else is our curiousity... I want... NEED to know how and why things work, and what can and can't be done. More to the point, I have to try to push things... I have never seen a junky freezer chest turned into a propetual grow box, so I wana do it... I will document the build, grow, and results of my madness with the good people of this forum. Rollitup tought me how to grow. Then I left for a stint in our great military. Been helping friends grow since, and been outa the loop the whole time. Now I am back and this marks my first joural.

I think of it like a sleeper car.... you just worry about how it runs and looks on the inside... it is already 100% light sealed, has been gutted of all copper and electronics as well as the compressor, leaving a beautiful spot for my ventilation.... also I can make a removable partition over the offset for some cfl's to raise clones in the last weeks of flowering...

The freezer sits outside in the garage and came with those awsome grimy graphics... would you want a ice cream outa of this freezer? Hahaha

Best, parts about using the freezer, they already hum, so no attention is paid, They lock!, and its already insulated. Also the rust will keep butts off so they don't shake my light... and all electronics can be ran off the original cord, because the freezer already used 10 guage wire with a ground...

What happened with this? I was curious as to how it turned out. I have the exact same deep freeze and was thinking about using it for a mother keeper. Anyone have any suggestions on a good inline exhaust fan for a setup this size? Its about 8 square feet of space. Pretty small but I think big enough to keep a good mother or two with cfl's.
